Can't express how grateful we are for bringing the industry to our home town. Hopefully this is the first of many such events and the start of something great for the region.

On top of the experience being so valuable it was also great to finally meet you all properly and hang out after the pitching was over.

I’d like to extend my thanks to the organisers of Birmingham Film Market, not just for the experience itself but also for organising bursary places with Create Central (without which I wouldn’t have been able to attend).

BFM was a career changing event, and maybe even the soon to be catalyst to life changing event, for me. I had access to producers and execs I would never had any opportunity to meet that are now championing my development - three of the five I had planned meetings with and another I met networking during lunch. It’s so important that this event occurred in Birmingham as attending similar existing events in London is not only difficult for me cost wise but also access wise (travel and accommodation) as a disabled person.
